Niantic Warning
#1
Hello everyone,

today, after botting  near my town, i changed to my smartphone as i do with my main account.

after starting the game, i got a big red Warning from Niantic, they wrote that they noticed that i used third party software  on my account and that i would loose my account if i continue. The wrote also that they suggested me to change my PW if i didn*t do that and it could be that my accout would have been hacked.

would the meaning of that be that i loose ma account if i continue botting with it? and that they won't ban me if i stop it?

someone else ever got that warning?

Hi everyone,

yesterday evening i got the same massage on my phone. Before that, the Bot told me, that i got a warning and i could see a little star next to my username.
After that i looked in on my phone and get the big red Warning. I quit the message and everythink looks ok so far. I stop botting for the night of course.
Today in the morning i try it again and unfortanatly i must see that i am banned now. My nice LV31 account is gone.
Just by the way, i was botting for 4-5 hours per day, walking speed 1,94, just in my home town.

So, lets start again.................................

stop on the botting if you received that. if you do it again you will not be able to "get data from server" the next day.
this is based from my experience so its your call what to do.

FYI I lost 3 accounts after receiving that message. I only logged in using the bot app and then logout after I noticed the message and I haven't even tried to bot after that
but still those 3 accounts was banned the next day.

The red warning is Niantic's way of letting you know that they think you are, or have been, cheating.

If you continue to use the account with 3rd party apps you run a real risk of it being banned.  Sometimes banned accounts come back (anything from 4 to 6 weeks in most cases), sometimes they never come back.

The best thing to do with the warned account is to play on the phone only and see if the warning goes away after around a week of playing.  Shutting down a warned account and resting it also works sometimes.

Bear in mind that once an account has had a warning it is highly likely that it will remain flagged in the system even if the warning gores away.

Can you keep botting the account?  - YES but know the risk.

Sometimes the warnings are a one way precursor to a ban - that we know.  Leave that account alone for 4 to 6 weeks and see if it comes back - it is not unknown for banned accounts to be reinstated after a month or so.

also I observed that those who received that black/red message will be stucked with ratata&pidgey and co.  Big Grin
so teleporting on the location of a rare pokemon will give you "<insert monster name> not found"
