Brainstorm (Why are we getting banned?)
#21
I've only had 2 accounts, here's my *completely scientific* report!  Rolleyes

- Account one (Google, main) was legit from Lv. 1 to Lv. 21, then I used Nox Emulator, then I used Ar1i bot, then I used PokeBot.Ninja and then it got banned at Lv. 32
- Account two (PTC, now main) is strictly botting since Lv. 1 (now Lv. 26) with PokeBot.Ninja ONLY and haven't got a single flag yet, probably because of the settings

- Account one was botting at 32 km/h in Ar1i bot, then 10 m/s in PokeBot.Ninja but I'm guessing it got banned because of the spoofing, even though I never sniped. I teleported quite a bit, from my hometown to about 120 km away, to Pier 39 in San Francisco which is quite a bit away. Even though I waited for around 20 hours before spoofing. Again, it probably got banned because of all the factors combined, so I'm not guessing anymore. Hell, I still don't even know if it's banned because I haven't received any notification email and if I create an account and try to use that nickname, it says it isn't available to use. Niantic "bans" are weird as of yet.

- Account two is currently botting at Pier 39, San Francisco. Since Lv. 1 it hasn't left that place, it hasn't changed speed (3 m/s), it does not have any keep/ignore/evolve Pokémon command, it does have inventory management to keep it simple, and it runs until the Pokémon inventory becomes full (usually around 1 hour and 25 minutes), then I stop it, I transfer, evolve, discard, etc. which usually takes around ... an hour. Then I repeat the procedure 5 times making sure I don't go over 1000 Pokémon / 2000 Pokéstop in a 24 hour time span, I have an Excel spreadsheet which looks like this:

...aaaaand, I start botting again 24 hours after I started my previous session. So, if I start today at 3:00pm, I'll bot again tomorrow at 3:00pm. That's my controlled scenario for this account and it will not change at all because:

1) It has been working great (only one softban day 1 because I catched 1001 Pokémon) that's why I made the Excel spreadsheet.
2) I got a 100% IV Dratini (now Dragonite) yesterday
3) It runs about ~32.000 XP/H without Lucky Eggs (that number fluctuates depending on the time of the day / night)
4) I have nothing else to do as of right now
5) I work in my bedroom, so I'm always close to my PC
6) I live in a place where, even though I have 2 pokéstops in front of my house and a Gym less than a block away, that's it.

I will keep my investigation open, and will recollect data from every single botting day so I can build a decent report for this account. I hope I can level it up to 40 one day without getting banned  Rolleyes  we'll see if that happens.

Has anyone taken the time to clear your "Google location history"?
I've seen it mentioned on other sites, and I kept forgetting to clear it. I opened it just now, and it was a MESS - because of my experiments with FakeGPS a couple weeks ago. I just went to each of my accounts, and deleted the history.
When you start using the PoGO app, you are required to give Niantic access to your location history. So, common sense says that we should make sure that there is no incriminating evidence, by deleting our history.
Thoughts???
If you like PokeBot.Ninja,

I always disable that stuff, always! I don't like Google keeping tabs on where I've been to predict my next location and behavior ... I usually go into the Google Dashboard and disable as much as I can; from location history, to device history ... basically everything. If I can disable it, I will disable it.

hmm that's very interesting. Thanks for sharing. Your session using the bot lasts about 1h30? I use the same logic but I bot for about 3/4 hours each time, with 12h interval and 3.5 m/s speed. Got only 2 softban (stopped immediately), but don't know why, since I was under the 1001 pokemon threshold. I will try 2.5 m/s as speed.

Quick question:
- I am not banned yet. So if after a certain lvl I stop using the bot like forever, is still a chance of ban? Or my acc is flagged since day 1 of botting?

raffahh, actually that's what I'm trying to figure out. I have this 23, that i've updated you guys on, so far, not banned. got the gym last night, albeit, lost it in an hour. still ok, but no more botting.

what I'll try to do is grind it til 26, that magical level where I usually get banned. now, if i still get banned, then we have your answer, just don't know how long i'll take to grind it, that's exactly the reason why i want to bot because, well, i've got love for the game but no time.

refresher for that 23, I levelled legit from 1-9, botted from 9-23. now 2-3 days no bot, just manually stuff. i did buy coins on it too, a signal telling niantic, hey i'm paying haha i know, like they care.
